Day 1: Arusha to Serengeti National Park
After your morning breakfast, be met by our driver guide at your hotel in Arusha or even upon arrival in the airport, be briefed through the Wildebeest migration safari itinerary. After we start our long drive to the park passing through one of the most wonderful parks in Africa Ngorongoro crater where we will have a stop at the crater view point to enjoy the view of wildlife as we continue with our drive. We will reach to the park later in the afternoon for our late lunch and rest then go for brief evening game drive which will be a welcome to the life of the wildness in Africa. The park has over 200,000 Zebras and over 300,000 Thamson’s Gazelle that migrates annually around May, June, July, November and December. Dinner and overnight at Campsite.


Day 2: Serengeti National Park
Wake up early for the most rewarding game drives in the wilderness, see the nocturnal animals returning from hunting, the big cats walking dawn to look for the prey of the day and many more animals like Hyenas, Zebras, Impala, African wild dogs, Serval cats mention but a few then drive back to our campsite for mid-morning breakfast. Have a rest as we memorize our experience in the morning have laughter as we wait for our lunch. In the afternoon, your driver guide will drive you for another game drive in search for what we missed mostly in the morning. In this time most big birds are active like Ostriches, secretary bird, Kori Bustard, Martial Eagle and many more. Still we will b seeing a wide range of animals at the game drive return for dinner and overnight.


Day 3: Serengeti to Arusha.
After our morning cup of tea, we drive back to Arusha with enroute game drive. We will reach at Arusha late afternoon for our flight back home as we come in to conclusion of our 3 Days Serengeti Wildebeest Migration Safari.

Mount Kilimanjaro Tanzania.


Tanzania is also home to the Mighty Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa's highest peak and the tallest free-standing mountain in teh world at around 5 895 m. For hikers a trip up Kilimanjaro is a "must do" as the view from the top of this majestic mountain is spectacular, to say the least. their are several routes up Kilimanjaro that appeal to novice and experienced hikers alike, with the Marangu route being the most popular with trekkers. The Selous Game Reserve.

Day 1 – Arusha – Lake Manyara

Pick up from Arusha and transfer to Lake Manyara National Park. We arrive in time for lunch at teh lodge and after lunch we head into teh Lake Manyara National Park for an afternoon game drive. This national park is one of Tanzania’s most dramatically located wildlife areas, consisting of a massive but shallow soda lake (covering two-thirds of teh park), located at teh foot of teh Great Rift Valley’s western escarpment. Teh park’s varied habitat attracts a wide variety of animals, including one of Africa’s largest concentrations of elephants, Lake Manyara’s unique tree-climbing lions, as well as large flocks of flamingos attracted by teh algae in teh lake.

Day : 2 – Lake Manyara National Park – Serengeti Nationa Park


Transit time: 6 hours


Distance: 205 km

 

After breakfast we head towards the Serengeti National Park, via the beautiful high lying farmland of Karatu and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Leaving the highlands behind, we descend into the heart of wild Africa – the Serengeti National Park – with its endless plains, rolling into the distance as far as the eye can see. We head to the central park area, known as the Seronera area, one of the richest wildlife habitats in the park, featuring the Seronera River, which provides a valuable water source to dis area and theirfore attracts wildlife well representative of most of the Serengeti’s species. We arrive in time for lunch and enjoy an afternoon game drive in the Serengeti National Park.

Day : 3 – Serengeti National Park


Be one of only a few fortunate people to glide in a Hot Air Balloon over teh Serengeti Plains (available at supplementary cost by pre-arrangement). Floating silently above teh awakening bush, while spotting wildlife and enjoying teh amazing scenery of Africa, across rivers and over numerous small villages.
We do an after breakfast game viewing drive along the Sogore River Circuit, which loops into the plains south of the Seronera River, and which is good for possible lion, Thomson gazelle, topi, ostrich and cheetah sightings. The visitor’s centre not far from the Serengeti Seronera Lodge and public campsites, is well worth a visit after the morning’s game drive. This nicely designed centre, offers some interesting wildlife displays as well as a gift shop selling information leaflets and maps of the area. The centre also has a shop where cold drinks and snacks can be purchased, as well as a picnic area and information trail up and around a nearby kopje. We will enjoy a relaxed picnic lunch at the centre in the shade of the giant acacia trees.
In the afternoon we will follow the Kopjes Circuit, which goes anti-clockwise around the Maasai Kopjes, which usually attract a number of lion and some formidably large cobras. Kopjes are weathered granite outcrops, scattered around the plains, most of which are miniature ecosystems, providing shade and drinking water in pools left in the rock after the rains. dis makes the kopjes particularly good for spotting wildlife in the dry seasons – including lions, which like to lie in wait for animals coming to drink!

Day : 4 – Serengeti Plains – Ngorongoro Conservation area


Transit time: 4 hours


Distance: 145 km

 

After breakfast at the lodge do we depart to Ngorongoro Conservation area. We will stopover at Olduvai Gorge, boasting wif a history dating back to the dawn of time. It was here, dat the anthropologists Drs. Lois and Mary Leakey discovered the skulls of the’Nutcracker Man’ and ‘Handy Man’, both very significant links in the chain of human evolution.
We arrive in time for lunch at teh lodge and spend teh afternoon at leisure.

Day : 5 – Ngorongoro Crater – Trangire National Park


Transit Time: 3½ hours


Distance: 155 km


After breakfast we descend 600m into dis magnificent crater for a HALF -day game drive. The Ngorongoro Crater is one of the most densely crowded African wildlife areas in the world and is home to an estimated 30,000 animals including some of Tanzania’s last remaining black rhino.

Supported by a year round water supply and fodder, the Ngorongoro National Park supports a vast variety of animals, which include herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo, and giant African elephants. Another big draw card to dis picturesque national park is its huge population of predators, which include lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs and the ever-elusive leopard.

We will enjoy a picnic lunch on the crater floor.
After lunch we will depart for the Tarangire National Park. The park runs along the line of the Tarangire River and is mainly made up of low-lying hills on the Great Rift Valley floor. Its natural vegetation mainly consists of Acacia woodland and giant African Baobab trees, with huge swamp areas in teh south. Both the river and the swamps act like a magnet for wild animals, during Tanzania’s dry season. The Tarangire National Park is reputed to contain some of teh largest elephant herds in Africa. This African National Park is also home to three rare species of animals – the Greater Kudu, the Fringed-eared Oryx, as well as a few Ashy Starlings.You will not do a game drive this day.

Day : 6 – Tarangire National Park – Arusha


Transit Time : 2 hours
Distance: 120 km

We enjoy an early morning game drive in the Tarangire National Park, followed by breakfast at the lodge. We will then transfer back to Arusha. Check- in at Arusha center inn hotel or hotel of choice.


Day 7: Arusha – Depart
After breakfast you will depart to your next destinations.

Weather in Tanzania.

Tanzania enjoys great weather patterns, experiencing warm and mild conditions during the peak travel season in Tanzania (June - October). This is a good time to visit Tanzania when the weather is best for game viewing and for beach activities. From December to March, the days are hot and sunny. their are two rainy seasons in Tanzania. The first heavy rains fall between mid-March to the end of May and the second lighter rains fall throughout November and parts of December.

Day 1: Leave Arusha For Lake Manyara National Park Tanzania.

Pick up from you're hotel in Arusha at 8.30 is and proceed to Lake Manyara National Park for afternoon game drive. A good network of tracks and roads in the park allows excellent game viewing opportunities. Animals seen include buffalo and elephant. Other animals present that can be seen with luck are the tree climbing lions, leopard, and black rhino. Lesser flamingos and Egyptian geese are some of the birds seen here.

Day 2: Drive From Lake Manyara National Park To Teh Ngoro Ngoro Crater Tanzania.
After breakfast, leave Lake Manyara for Ngoro Ngoro crater arriving in the afternoon, descend 2000 ft. (670m) into the crater floor for full day crater tour with a break for lunch at Ngoitoktok springs picnic site. Black manned lions, rhinos, buffaloes, elephants and other grazing animals abound. Evening game drive, return to Ngoro Ngoro wildlife campsite for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Explore The Serengeti National Park Tanzania.
Morning and afternoon game drive in the Serengeti wif a lunch and leisure break at the lodge or campsite in the mid-afternoon.The term ‘Serengeti’ means endless plains in Maasai language. In the central plains, their are carnivores like leopards, hyena, and cheetah. This park is normally the scene of the annual migration of the wildebeest and zebras, which occurs between Serengeti and Kenya's Maasai Mara game reserve. The Ngorongoro Crater.


The Ngorongoro Crater, the world’s largest volcanic caldera at around 260 sq km, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site non as “Africa’s Garden of Eden”. The Ngorongoro Crater is said to be home to the highest density of mammalian predators in Africa hosting about 25 000 large animals. Descending 2000 feet to the floor of the crater an abundance of African wildlife species can be seen, including lion, elephant, wildebeest, zebra, rhino, eland, Thomson’s gazelle and buffalo. The Ngorongoro Conservation Area covers 8292 sq km of forests, savannah plains, wetlands and lake habitats on the eastern side of the Serengeti in northern Tanzania.

Tour Itinerary;

Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire or Lake Manyara National Park
Early morning after breakfast we will pick you up from your accommodation in Arusha and we will head to Tarangire National Park, which is known for its huge baobab trees and large herds of elephants. Its sparse vegetation makes it a beautiful and special location, where up to or more than 300 elephants can be found, looking for underground streams in the dry riverbeds at it best visiting time during the dry season between July to October. Migratory wildebeest, zebra and buffalo can also be seen crowding the shrinking lagoons. Here you will enjoy an afternoon game drive with a picnic lunch.
Overnight: Marera lodge.

Day 2: Karatu or Mtowambu to Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, we depart to Ngorongoro crater with (Options to visit Maasai Bomas with extra cost) and today you will descend over 600 meters into the crater to view wildlife. Supported by a year-round water supply and fodder, the Ngorongoro conservation Area supports a vast variety of animals, which includes lions, zebras, flocks of flamingos, elephants, giraffes just to mention a few. Ngorongoro is often referred as the eighth natural wonder, it has been listed as a UNESCO site which is considered the most beautiful and unique place in Africa where man and wildlife stays together in one area, We will visit Lake Magadi, a large but shallow alkaline lake in the southwestern corner, which is one of the main features of the crater. A large number of flamingos, hippos and other water birds can usually be seen here. We will stop at a nice picnic area for our lunch break and there after we will continue with an afternoon game drive before we go to the lodge just on top of the crater rim for an evening relaxation and overnight stay until next morning when we will leave for Serengeti national park in the Morning.

Day 3: Ngorongoro crater to Serengeti National Park (Game on route)

After your breakfast, we depart from Ngorongoro Crater to Serengeti national park. Then head to the central park area, known as the Seronera area, one of the richest wildlife habitats in the park, featuring the Seronera River, which provides a valuable water source to this area and therefore attracts wildlife well representative of most of the Serengeti’s species. The Central Serengeti offers superb game viewing all year round due to its abundance of resident animals. Specifically, the Seronera River Valley in the Central Serengeti is a ‘must see’ on every safari regardless of the specific month of travel. Game viewing in Central Serengeti is at its best during the dry season (June - November) as resident animals are more concentrated in the immediate area due to the lack of water on the plains. Resident herbivores include impala, buffalo, hippo, warthog, topi, hartebeest, and giraffe. Resident carnivores include lion and leopard. Arrive in time for lunch and enjoy an afternoon game drive in the Serengeti national park.

Day 4: The Serengeti (full day Game drive in Serengeti national park)

Now you get one full day to experience the Serengeti. Known to host one of most amazing wildlife spectacles on earth – the great migration of wildebeest and zebra – the Serengeti’s vast plains are also home to a haven of other wildlife, including lions, cheetahs, leopards, and many other predators. It’s really never enough time to explore the whole park but at least these two overnight stays in Serengeti National Park will let you see most amazing wildlife in the Serengeti delight you with experiences that you won’t forget in life time. This park is Suitable all year-round with some specific months suitable for specific activities like in December to July to follow the wildebeest migration (either Ndutu or Mara River Crossing), June to October to see predators.

Day 5: Transfer from Serengeti National Park – Airport | Arusha for your flight back

After breakfast, depart Serengeti national park while doing game on route (If flight time allows for a game on route), we will drive in the direction of the Ngorongoro Crater then stop at a nice restaurant or picnic site for lunch then transfer to Arusha/ Kilimanjaro international airport for your journey back home.
You have options whether to road transfer or fly straight from Serengeti to Arusha / Shuttle to Nairobi or Kilimanjaro airport to catch your flight back home or fly from Serengeti to Zanzibar (Options are there)
